Ordered two fobs for my 2014 VW Routan. Previous fobs were no longer working. I paid $140 to have a locksmith program them. Everything works great!

I ordered two key fobs for my vehicle. Both arrived timely, looked brand new and, after being programmed by the locksmith, all my vehicle functions worked great.

NorthCoast is an excellent company: answered all my questions & shipped promptly! Cost $80 vs. $300 from my dealer. Their recommended local locksmith was perfect. Very happy customer!

Procuring my key fob from NC was easy and quick. The price was great. I had no issues with that portion of the transaction. Getting their “approved” locksmith to do the programming was another matter. After 2 weeks of trying to get the fob programmed and being continually put off by the locksmith company, I contacted NC and asked them to intercede on my behalf with the locksmith. Their response was to give me a website that listed all the locksmiths in my area. The website was not helpful. I never heard back from NC. I finally got the “NC approved” locksmith to do the job, but it was a bit of a hassle. Just the same, the total cost of the used, OEM fob and programming ran $165. This certainly beat the cost of other locksmiths (about $350), Ace Hardware ($300)? and the dealership where I bought my car ($500). I guess the money I saved, even though there was a bit of frustration, made it all worthwhile

I had to go to the dealership to reprogram but they charged less than the quoted price of a locksmith. It worked perfectly

Arrived quickly, key fobs look brand new.
A quick stop at a local locksmith had them programmed and working perfectly.
Big savings over what the dealer quoted, thanks so much!
