All packages are shipped with USPS tracking & delivery confirmation to the address provided. NorthCoast Keyless assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen mail. Any claims that the item was “Lost” or “Not received” when the tracking information shows “Delivered” will require that the Customer contact the local USPS office with the tracking number provided and file a claim.
This includes any instance in which the USPS tracking information shows that the package has been “Delivered,” and the Customer claims non-delivery; the package is the responsibility of the Customer.
Returns & Replacements
Product Guarantee & Warranty
As outlined on our NorthCoast Commitment page, we offer a 30 Day No Questions Asked Money Back Guarantee on all of our products! If you can’t get it to work for your vehicle–shoot us an email. We’ll let you return the product for a full-refund. We also guarantee our products from all defects up to 90 Days from the purchase date with our 90 Day Product Warranty. If the remote you order quits working within 90 Days from the purchase date, you can return it to us for repair or replacement. On top of those assurances, we don’t charge restock fees for any reason whatsoever. You won’t find that protection anywhere else.
Return in 3 Easy Steps!
Step 1: Email us at email@example.com with your Order Number and a reason for the return.
Step 2: Once your return request is accepted and Return Authorization is given (outlined below), we’ll issue you return instructions to send your product back to us in its original condition. Please include your Name and Order Number in or on the package. This information MUST be legible in order to be eligible for a refund. Your return period will expire after 30 days of receipt of your order (as reported by USPS delivery confirmation).
Step 3: Once we receive and process your return, we will either issue a refund or send you the replacement that you need — whatever you chose. Please allow 10 days for your refund to be fully processed.

Please note that you must have a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number or otherwise NorthCoast Keyless Support Authorization in order for us to accept a return of any kind and issue any applicable refunds. To obtain a RMA number/authorization for your return, please follow the Return Process outlined above.
IMPORTANT: NO RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT RETURN AUTHORIZATION BY NORTHCOAST KEYLESS.
For all returns, we suggest that in order to ensure the product is returned to us — it is in the Customer’s best interest to do at least one of the following: 1) insure the return shipment for the value of the merchandise, 2) ship your return with tracking and/or a delivery confirmation. If a package doesn’t arrive and you don’t use a trackable method to return or if you refuse the shipment as a method of return, we will not be able to guarantee your refund.
The following limitations apply to all Returns:
No Longer Needed/Wanted – If within 30 days of purchase you would like to return the item due to finding a lost remote, buyer’s remorse, etc., NorthCoast Keyless will offer a refund upon self-return. Return Authorization by a NorthCoast representative is still required.
Incorrect Order By Buyer – In the event that an item was ordered incorrectly by the Customer and is not compatible with their vehicle, NorthCoast Keyless must be notified within 30 days of Customer receipt of the order in order to be eligible for a return or exchange. If you would like to exchange for the compatible product for your vehicle, NorthCoast Keyless will issue a return authorization upon Customer contact in order to begin the exchange process. NorthCoast Keyless will work with each Customer on a case-by-case basis to partially refund or collect additional payments to account for any price differences. If you would like to simply return the item, the criteria remains the same as “No Longer Needed/Wanted” outlined above.
No Remote Keyless Entry Installed – We ask that all Customers perform their due diligence to ensure that their vehicle is equipped with a remote keyless entry system before purchase. You can confirm whether your vehicle is equipped with keyless entry by contacting your local Dealership/Parts Center with your vehicle’s VIN. Each Customer will be held accountable for ensuring that their vehicle is equipped for a keyless entry remote before ordering. Therefore, if a Customer requests a return due to not having a vehicle equipped with keyless entry, the criteria remains the same as “No Longer Needed/Wanted” outlined above.
NorthCoast Keyless Sent Wrong Item – In the event that an item is incorrectly packaged or picked by our warehouse, a replacement part will be shipped to the Customer from NorthCoast Keyless along with a pre-paid shipping label and Return Authorization for the incorrectly fulfilled item.
Not Returned in Original Condition – No refunds (partial or in full) can be issued for key cutting services after the key has been shipped and received by the customer. If a Customer returns a key that has been cut, a partial refund will be issued for the cost of the remote/key less the cost of the cut blade.
International (Outside US) – All returns initiated from outside the United States require a self-return. All returns-for-refund will be refunded the original purchase price minus original shipping costs.
Other – NorthCoast Keyless is committed to Customer satisfaction and will review each request for return individually. Special consideration will be given to those returns that follow the guidelines outlined above. If the reason for return does not fall into one of the categories mentioned above, you must provide, in detail, the reason that the return request is being made.
NorthCoast Keyless reserves the right to reject any request for return or returned item that does not meet our guidelines.
In order to take care of our Customers and deliver shipping within 1 Business Day of placing an order — we start processing orders immediately after an order is placed. During order processing it may be possible to cancel your order, but once the order moves into the fulfillment and shipping process, it cannot be cancelled. At that time we will work with you to file for a return of your order (for after you receive it) instead.
