Perfect way to get factory keys for a great price!!

On my 2015 Ford Explorer, I found out i could enable “remote start” using my laptop and ForScan program. The hardware is already in place. Ford wanted 300.00 for the “remote start kit”, that only consisted of 2 5-button keys and a trip to the dealer to program and cut keys. I purchased this key, had it cut for 5.00 and programmed the key myself. OEM quality at a great price. I found out there are alot of clones that cannot be programmed, don’t take s chance and waste your time and your money.

I bought these keys to aid with enabling remote start on my 2011 Ford Explorer. The vehicle comes from the factory with the remote start equipment already installed. A vehicle owner just needs to obtain a key/keyfob with a remote start function and then enable remote start in the vehicle’s system.
I ordered two refurbished keys from NorthCoast Keyless. The keys look new; they have new metal key blanks and new fob bodies, but the internal electronics are factory Ford. After having the keys cut, I was able to easily program the vehicle to accept them as admin keys. After enabling the remote start function in the vehicle, I initiated the remote start by hitting the buttons on the keys and the vehicle fired right up. I’ve been using the keys for a while now and they still work perfectly.

Took it to a dealer and they said it was a legit ford key. I tried the programming instructions but it won’t work. Needs an override so don’t expect to do it on your own/ took it to a guy at a car dealership who programmed it easily. Although just make sure it works out price wise as one locksmith was going to charge me $195 to program it and couldn’t guarantee it would work.
