It works fine but it had to be programmed by a Kia dealer. I tried two independent locksmiths that I had used to cut and program other car keys but neither could program this Kia remote. Their equipment just did not recognize the remote. This is not the fault of the remote–perhaps the independent shops just needed to update their equipment.
