The Emergency Key Blade for the Chevrolet Smart Key Fob Remotes arrived as expected, no issues with that. But, I took the key blade to my local dealer to have it cut to match my original key. The dealer cut the key on a machine by using the VIN of my car. For some reason, the key will not unlock the door. No idea why. The cut looks the same as far as I can tell but it doesn’t work.
I might order another key from NorthCoast Keyless and take it to a locksmith to see if that will work.

Price was so much more reasonable than the O.E. Key blank. Looks and feels good and it works perfectly. AC Delco wanted $50 for the same exact thing.
