    I bought this to replace an old key fob that wasn’t working well as it was very worn. I took the original physical key and the electronics out of the old key fob and placed it inside the new one and everything works fine. No idea how well the electronics itself would work if I had it programmed, but that was not why I bought his key fob. It did come with the appropriate battery already installed.
