This transponder key worked perfectly on my 2008 Ford Fusion. Ebay sellers were cheaper but also dead on arrival so no bargain there. I had the key cut at the hardware store. Get a chipped key without buttons too so you can always have three keys. That way you’ll still have two if you lose one. You can program the new one yourself if you have two programmed keys already. Otherwise it’s off to the dealer or maybe the locksmith. My new car has a push button start and a $300 smart key that can only be programmed at the dealer for another $70. I guess progress is expensive.
