The instructions provided for programming the fob do not match the instructions from the factory. In order for the programming procedure to complete you have to point the fob at the multiplex control unit under the passenger glove box. This information comes directly from the factory service manual used at dealerships, which I happen to own. If you want your own copy they run upwards of $150 but it is worth it.
NCK needs to update the instructions for programming to include this information.
