I then press it again after leaving it on english and i get trip……., then engine hours. Am i doing something wrong, even on the language engilsih, i keep pressing it and nothing comes out. plz help. i have a 2007 chevy silverado classic .
I’m just brought at 2007 Silverado. I’m having same issue, did you figure it out? Thanks
My truck does the same as Jessie Munoz. I’ve tried everything. Why is my truck different from all other instructions. Please help !!!
I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado classic as well and have tried two different key fobs that say are compatible with my truck. I dont have the relearn remote key entry option on my truck as well. How can I do this without taking it to a dealership. I’m tired of when unlocking my truck having to jump in real quick to start it to turn the alarm off. Please help
Language and trip choices only. From reading the owner’s manual it seems these are the choices you have if your vehicle is equipped with DIC buttons(driver information center). I had the same issues and installed the DIC buttons, it did not fix my fob programming issues. I dont know where the programming software resides in the truck so in my case it might be gone because of modifications. I’m sure though what your seeing is because your truck thinks it has the DIC. Good luck.
I have an 07 classic. You are suppose to use the method listed first in this article where you cycle engine on, off, on, off while holding the door unlock button (on the door itself). I’ll try it myself and report back if it works. I got the info from a friend who was a mechanic at a dealership.
I know this is from long ago, but for others … I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado classic as well. I followed first set of instructions. Remember the 3rd step is the unlock button on the *door*
