STEP-BY-STEP HOW TO PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS

Enter Programming Mode – Step 1
LOCK Driver’s door from the OUTSIDE using an existing key.

Enter Programming Mode – Step 2
PRESS and HOLD the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons for 4 seconds on the first remote to be programmed.

Enter Programming Mode – Step 3
REPEAT Steps 1-2 with EACH remote to be programmed to the vehicle.

Enter Programming Mode – Step 4
INSERT key into the Ignition and TURN the Ignition switch to the OFF position.

Enter Programming Mode – Step 5
TEST all remotes.

Enter Programming Mode – Step 6
TURN Ignition from OFF to the ON position (just shy of cranking engine).

Enter Programming Mode – Step 7
LOCK Driver’s door from the OUTSIDE using an existing key.

Program Remote(s)
PRESS UNLOCK button ONCE on the first remote transmitter to assign it to Memory Slot #1. Vehicle will signal successful programming of the remote.

Finalize Programming
WAIT 6 seconds. PRESS UNLOCK button to finalize programming of the first remote.

Program Additional Remote(s)
REPEAT Steps 6-9 on any additional remotes to be programmed. Note that you will PRESS the UNLOCK button on each remote that corresponds to the Memory Slot you want to program it to (2 times = Slot #2, 3 times = Slot #3, & 4 times = Slot #4).

Exit Programming Mode
TURN Ignition to the OFF position and REMOVE key to finalize programming and EXIT Programming mode.

Test Remote(s)
TEST all remotes. Programming is now complete.

- Your vehicle is equipped with keyless entry, and
- You have a key fob remote that is compatible with your vehicle.
- Obtain ALL remote transmitters for this vehicle.
- You will need at least 2 remotes/keys in order to perform this procedure yourself without the help of a Professional.
- You can program up to 4 remotes to this vehicle’s keyless entry system Memory.
- You will be able to assign each remote a Memory Position (1-4). In order to assign a Memory Position, you will PRESS the UNLOCK Button on each remote 1 time for Memory Slot #1, 2 times for Memory Slot #2 and so on.
