KEY FOB REMOTEStep-By-Step How To Programming Instructions
- Move Fobs Out of Range
MOVE ALL key fob remotes out of range of the Vehicle (10-15 feet).
- Remove Fuse
INSERT key into Ignition and TURN to ON (just shy of cranking).
- Enter Programming Mode – Step 1
PUSH the TRIP/ODO button on the Driver Information Center (DIC) 2 times.
- Enter Programming Mode – Step 2
WITHIN 5 seconds, PUSH and HOLD the FUEL INFO button on the DIC until the PKE light comes ON.
- Enter Programming Mode – Step 3
TURN the Ignition to the OFF position and LEAVE the key in the Ignition. The PKE light will begin flashing to signal successful entry into Programming Mode.
- Program Remote
MOVE one key fob remote into range. The PKE light will STOP flashing to signal successful programming of the remote.
- Move Fob Out of Range
MOVE the key fob remote out of range again. The PKE light will START flashing again to signal that it is ready for the next key fob to be programmed.
- Program Additional Remotes
To program any additional remotes, REPEAT Steps 6-7.
- Exit Programming Mode
REMOVE the key from the Ignition in order to EXIT Programming Mode. It will take 2 minutes for the vehicle to EXIT Programming Mode.
- Test Remotes
TEST all remotes. Programming is complete.

Programming Notes:
- Verify the following prior to following these instructions:
- Your vehicle is equipped with keyless entry, and
- You have a key fob remote that is compatible with your vehicle.
- Obtain all remote transmitters for this vehicle. This procedure will erase all previously programmed remotes. You must program all existing and new remotes that you wish to use on the vehicle at this time.
- You may clear your keyless entry system memory by entering programming mode as shown in the steps above.
- Turn Radio OFF during programming.
