KEY FOB REMOTEStep-By-Step How To Programming Instructions
- Insert Key into Ignition
INSERT key into the Ignition and TURN to the ON position (just shy of cranking the engine).
- Locate Programming Connector
OPEN the Glove Box and REMOVE the inner compartment in order to access behind Glove Box. LOCATE the keyless entry receiver module and PRESS the “PROGRAM” button on the receiver. The Vehicle will respond by cycling door locks LOCK / UNLOCK to signal successful entry into Programming Mode.
- Program Remote
WITHIN 10 seconds, PRESS the UNLOCK button on the first remote to be programmed. The Vehicle will respond by cycling door locks LOCK / UNLOCK to signal successful programming of the remote.
- Program Additional Remotes
REPEAT Step 3 for any additional remotes to be programmed, including working ones.
- Exit Programming Mode
REMOVE key from Ignition to EXIT Programming Mode.
- Test Remotes
TEST all remotes. Programming is complete.

- Your vehicle is equipped with keyless entry, and
- You have a key fob remote that is compatible with your vehicle.
- Obtain all remote transmitters for this vehicle. This procedure will erase all previously programmed remotes. You must program all existing and new remotes that you wish to use on the vehicle at this time.
- You may clear your keyless entry system memory by entering programming mode as shown in the steps above.
