Look for the EXACT key fob remote. If it has the Start button, it will NOT work… I already tried it. Each transponder works in the 415 mhz. range, but also has a Pl. Tone code. Like the FRS 2 way radios that are on the same frequency, but you can Not hear other talking because of the Pl tone. Honda brand work better than the cheep knock-off “Unbranded” ones do. Next, you will HAVE to get an OBD2 reader to talk to your engine management E.C.U. to communicate with all the keys to be programed. Locksmiths are less expensive than the dealer. You will want to do this so if someone finds your “Lost” key, they can still unlock your car with the key inside the fob, but NOT start your car! The thief that kept the extra fob in his pocket that sold the car to the dealer, will NOT be able to drive off with it a year later!
